Before my retirement in 2016 I ran large IT development and consultancy teams for a variety of companies, travelling extensively. I moved to Monks Eleigh with my wife, Fiona, in 2021 during lockdown which initially made socialising difficult. However, we are now well embedded in this lovely Suffolk village where Fiona works in the community shop and I run the bell ringing at St. Peters and am a member of the PCC. Outside the village, I am interested in astronomy, physics and model railways
