Before my retirement, I lived and worked in France where I was involved in Manufacturing and Risk assessment for a multinational company (Michelin). On my retirement in 2009, we moved to Monks Eleigh. We had no previous connections to East Anglia but wanted to be within easy reach of London and our two sons. Moving from a large town to a small village was quite a change. On arrival we were made to feel very welcome and have no regrets with our choice of house, village and community. I enjoy getting involved with the local community. As well as being a trustee with the village hall, I volunteer in our community shop, have been a Parish Councillor and have served on the Fete committee.
