Spinning Wheel Theatre are excited to be back out on the road with their sell-out adaptation of Margery Williams' classic children's story The Velveteen Rabbit and will be performing at Monks Eleigh Village Hall on Sunday 2 April at 2:30pm. This enchanting show is perfectly timed to play during the Easter holidays for family audiences.


This is a beautiful tale about a toy rabbit's dream to become real and will be brought to life on stage by two actors, inventive puppetry and song. A joyful and uplifting tale of magic, friendship and hope, this is a show for all the family - not to be missed!

Not long after being unwrapped on Christmas morning, the Velveteen Rabbit is cast aside to gather dust.


Shunned by the other braver, more glamorous toys, with expensive motors and flashing lights, he fears he’ll never be played with… but a chance encounter makes him the favourite tor, and with a little magic and a lot of love, he might even become real!
