Knit and Stitch Group - Hearts for the NHS
Updated: Jul 8, 2020
Have you heard about the NHS knitted hearts for vulnerable sick patients started in a Midlands hospital? Knitted in matching pairs, one is given to the patient, and the other is given to their loved ones because they are not allowed to visit. The hearts are a keepsake and reminder of contact together.
The Monks Eleigh village Knit & Stitch group were asked if they would knit some for Ipswich Hospital and have knitted a total of 55 pairs. Please see the attached photo - quite an achievement. Our bit of help for the NHS!
