Journey's End is a powerful and moving tribute to the men who fought in the trenches in 1918.

Starring Sam Claflin (who was born in Ipswich), Paul Bettany, Stephen Graham, Tom Sturridge, Toby Jones and Asa Butterfield.

A relevant local fact: Not only was the lead actor born in Ipswich; some of the trench scenes were filmed in an existing trench network just outside Ipswich, before the production moved to Wales; and many extras featured in the film were were obtained via students from Suffolk New College.
