Open morning: Great success!

The Monks Eleigh Village Hall held it's first open morning on 16th February 2019.

It was well attended and proved just the opportunity to find out what was happening in the new hall.

Tutors and instructors offering classes and activities were thrilled with the turn-out of villagers and were on hand to advise and promote their classes.

There were opportunities to participate in Yoga, Zumba, Pilates, Table tennis and Tai Chi as well as the rather less energetic activities of: Creative writing, drawing, poetry, history club, knitting and sewing. In addition whist is currently played monthly during the autumn and winter months.

We hope to be able to offer Carpet Bowls in the near future.

The morning also gave those who had not seen the new hall the chance to see the great facilities including the well fitted kitchen, bar and meeting room.
