The Village Hall Trust committee chairperson, Patti Derry, gives an introduction to the forthcoming ground-breaking event and a summary of all the work, both past and present, which has gone into getting to this stage in the project and looks forward to the coming year's construction.
A large number of people gathered in St. Peter's Church on Saturday 6th January 2018. Teas, coffees and bread rolls were handed out freely to those in attendance, before the group moved up to the recreation ground site to see the first piece of ground being lifted.
